Hi internet,
I’ve started a thread to ask questions about and discuss the 2014 AP US History exam.
Enjoy!

I’ll start off by asking what did people get for the question about the biggest exports for PA, NY, NJ. the options were fish, wheat, lumber, tobacco, and one other thing/

<<the college="" board="" will="" automatically="" cancel="" your="" exam="" score="" if="" you="" are="" discovered="" disclosing:="" multiple-choice="" questions;="" free-response="" questions="" from="" an="" alternate="" exam;="" a="" regularly="" scheduled="" within="" two="" days="" of="" its="" administration;="" or="" that="" not="" released="" on="" the="" website="" after="" administration.="">></the>

Knock it off.

There was already a big brouhaha in the Lang thread about this…

@akacesfan you’d think people would get the message then…

@guineagirl96 apparently there was a Google Doc with the MC answers and someone (idk if it was College Board) replaced the entire text of the document with a "message from College Board). Needless to say, people freaked out…

e: does that not apply to AP for some reason?

@elvisthepup it is against the rules. they’re saying that you’re held accountable for your actions and suffer the consequences from the college board and this forum is not responsible for your actions that break college board’s rules.

“Proceed at your own risk”

aka the forum allows you to discuss questions.

It is against CB rules, therefore you are not allowed to do it period. They don’t need to put anything in the rules about it because IT IS NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE. All posts as such WILL be removed.

http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/2013_14_ap_bulletin.pdf page 5. If you discuss the questions, you are being really stupid because they can and will figure out who you are and CB will punish you. It has happened before.

I didn’t notice the the Super! moderator so kindly told us to “knock it off”. I say to this Super! moderator…

edit the post I linked above. It implies that discussing questions is allowed, but not supported by this site and risky. If discussing questions is allowed, then why did you tell us to knock it off for no reason?

and guineagirl96, why is it that you’re motivated to stop discussion? Jw

<a href=“AP Announcement and Warning - AP Test Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>AP Announcement and Warning - AP Test Preparation - College Confidential Forums;

because it’s against the rules and is “cheating”. Honestly, it’s more for your protection. Why would you risk it?

O mb. Cheating…sure. I feel flattered that you care about me <3 And the answer to your question is obvious: curiosity.

@elvisthepup you’re right it isn’t technically cheating. sorry… I found the link where it states that doing so is against the forums policy in the other thread I posted. I’ll admit it took some digging myself for me to find it. http://www.collegeconfidential.com/cgi-bin/discus/show.cgi?69/61338 it’s from the old website

@guineagirl96

How exactly can they figure out who they are? And when has it happened before?

@redisthenewblack A moderator has already said to “knock it off.” You’ve already been jailed for something. Plenty of examples have been cited. I’d suggest not pushing the issue.

A moderator said “knock it off” in response to discussing MC. We aren’t doing that now, yaherd? But red, I don’t believe they can unless you aide them in some way. I don’t know of any examples but people say it has happened.

@redisthenewblack they use what you’ve posted to figure it out. You’d be surprised how easy that is
