Hi guys, the ap is in just a couple of days now and I’ve been studying my butt of for history, one problem in been having is that I’ve been confusing what each president did/ what time period it was…etc

I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on studying them or maybe even have some good notes on the important presidents and their contributions to the us

Well, you don’t need to know EVERY president. The ones to look out for are: Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Wilson, FDR, and maybe the next few that come after because of the Cold War.

That being said, use mnemonic devices. Also relate them to specific time periods.
Ex: Wilson, okay WWI. What happened during WWI that was relevant? Play it like that. FDR goes along with depression/WWII, Teddy with the age of imperialism, etc.

I have a nifty packet marked up with my notes the separates the years by president and era. If you’d perhaps like for me to scan it, please PM me.
