APUSH, Short Answer format?

Hi, I was wondering how do we format the short answer responses in terms of length? My teachers were never clear about this at all.

In the beginning of the year it seemed that they said we could only write up to a maximum of three sentences though this assumption has been unraveling recently.

Does anyone have a definitive answer?

There is not a certain amount of sentences which you should write. You get approx one page of lines for each short answer. I asked my teacher about this and he said that its best to write as much as you can while answering all aspects of the prompt. Adding in additional information wont hurt you.
