<p>You should go to the school housing site and see if they allow pets in dorms or have a size limit of a tank.</p>
<p>You can have fish in your room, and I’ve never heard of a tank size limit. That being said, you need to consider transportation issues and whether or not it will fit in your room.</p>
<p>Also take into consideration your roommate. He/she may not like the idea of a large, fragile fish tank in his/her vicinity.</p>
