<p>I got accepted into the engineering college at upark but wanna know more about the program from people other then penn state admissions people.</p>

<p>The Arch E is program is considered one of the top two in the country (along with UT-Austin). It is a five year program which you would apply to at the end of your freshman year. The department has an enrollment cap and spots are offered on the basis if GPA; the courseload is challenging. My son liked the program better than other schools we visited (UC-Boulder, IIT, Drexel) because there is more collaboration with the department of architecture than he saw at the other schools. (At one time e thought he would study architecture, but he seems to have the engineering “gene”.) Do you have specific questions?</p>
