Are there any current AAP students that can offer any information about the school? I want to major in Urban and Regional Studies.

Bump! 10 Char

…double bump.

Is that the same as being an architect? (Sorry for my ignorance) But architects generally spend long hours in the studio.

CRP is a lot different from Art and Architecture IMO

no crp is completely different than art and architecture. it is more about the role of the city in the world, so like the cultural/social aspects of the city and planning the city

Can anyone offer specific info about the school or major?

i dont know specific info about the major, but im an architecture major, and i know a lot about AAP

any specific questions you have?

Yes, architecture major here! :)

How is the studio atmosphere generrally? Do people just sit quietly and work individually, or are the students really bonded?
How hard is the major generally? Any easy or fun electives available that I should keep in mind? Do you find any time to socialize outside the studio? Does the fact that Cornell’s suburban affect architecture students at all? I mean architecture is interrelated with urban culture, so do you feel like if you studied in an urban city, you would get a chance to explore more?

Haha, sorry for the question bombardment! :D

Does anyone know anything about University of Maryland-School of Architecture vs. Northeastern-School of Architecture? Is one program better than the other? Any information would be appreciated.

This is actually the Cornell forum, Architecture is here
