Hi! can anyone tell me what percent of the B.arch program are liberal arts courses (including all history, theory, analysis and criticism)? I am really trying to avoid them! Also, if anyone has heard something, which of the other B.arch programs from the other universities are more focused on arch tech and design instead of all the other liberal art material? Thanks very much!!!

A very important part of an education in architecture is the liberal arts part of it.....its imperitive you take those courses. sometimes a BA and then an MArch is also a good option.
Check out the thread on architecture in the other college majors part of this site for more info.

yes, I know liberal arts is perceived to be important, but I don't want to spend any money and/or time on it, please. I am looking for a professional B.arch program that focuses more on structural technology/engineering and design, would anyone know which program puts the least emphasis on the liberal arts? thanks!!!
