<p>I've been looking all over the place for archived rankings (i.e. US News Rankings for every year back until whenever) to no avail. The internet has landed me here. Anyone know where I might find something along these lines? Despite the fact that I haven't had any success in those quest whatsoever, I'm also looking for actual statistics to go along with these rankings (i.e. Acceptance Rates & Mean Test Scores).</p>
<p>Let me know if you've got this stuff in front of you or know where I might find it.</p>
<p>For those that are curious, I'm planning on using this information in my eventual college decision. I've heard back from the following schools with acceptances and substantial to full scholarship offers: Vanderbilt, Elon, Emory, Duke. I'm waiting on Princeton, Dartmouth, and Brown.</p>

<p>Nearly forgot to mention: As you know, the Common Data Set is usually published by most schools dating back to '99 or '00. Of course this is helpful, especially with the exponential changes that have occured in schools over the past decade or so, and while I definitely am looking for these rankings as well, I'm trying to find some trends that are noticable over longer periods of time (i.e. Duke's rise in reputation and prestige throughout the 70s and 80s).</p>
<p>It's nice to have Duke in the bag. Princeton would be my top choice.</p>
<p>I have the historical US News data but I have also seen it online. Can't recall where but you could try using the CC search engine.</p>
<p>Why will the historical trends help you make a decision?</p>
<p>The US News rankings only go back to 1983, and the current criteria weren't adopted until 1989. </p>
