Are AP review books good enough to prep for SAT subject tests

I really don't feel like buying all new SAT subject test books for Bio and US history, are the Princeton Review books for AP bio and USH along with the AMSCO book for history enough to get me above 750. Most of the stuff is still fresh in my head but I have been reading around here that these tests are harder than the AP ones.

I can’t speak for Bio, but AMSCO alone could get you an 800 for US.

I really don’t know why the material would change if you have a good understanding in it, yanno? Knowledge of US History is… knowledge of US history.

And besides, I heard AP classes go into more detail than the SAT II tests.

/Just my $.02!

AP books are definitely good enough for the SAT II. The AP exam for a certain subject is definitely more difficult than the AP exam in that same subject (especially for foreign languages).
