I will be taking AP Biology and AP US History this year and have a few questions. From what I have learned from some friends who have already taken AP US... the US History AP Exam and Subject test are pretty different. Are the multiple choice more difficult on one than another? Should I bother getting a SATII prep book, or will it be enough to just study for the AP exam, and then take the SATII one a few weeks later with no prep.
Same questions for the Biology ones.

I’m not sure abt bio but for us history I heard that the Amsco book is good enough for both the AP and SAT 2 exams. If you want additional practice, I heard the Kaplan SAT2 book is good for US :)

I studied for the AP exam in May, and I took the SAT II in June without any studying at all. I got an 800.

Wait a minute, I thought the AP US test and SATII test were pretty similar. Most say the SATII is easier but there were some tough questions. I got a 5 for AP US and 780 for SATII (between the two, I had about four or so hours of study time, and SATII was first). The MCs were pretty similar. In fact, some questions were almost exactly the same. The rest of the AP US test is different because of the essays, though.

I have also heard that amsco is good preparation for both. I would assume that studying for ap biology would also be enough for the subject test.

Thanks for the advice on US, anyone know anything about the bio one?
