I am talking about the UC's, Calstates, and UCS. Do I send in AP scores just as I do with SAT scores?

No. No college requires AP scores and no need to send official scores (until after you are admitted and you want credit). Self-reporting in application or in essay is fine to have them noticed although not likely to be a factor of significance in admission.

The score reports are separate, even though both kinds of score reports are kept by College Board.

See

for some more details. The UC and Cal State colleges have their own rules about how and when to report scores.

sometimes your counselor can put it on your transcript along with your SAT scores - at least, that's what mine did. ask him/her if that would be possible, because it makes it alot easier.

For the Calif publics, just self-report all test scores on the app. Do not waste money to send AP scores now; wait until you have chosen your college next May.

Thanks for help. I understand now.
