I was on my school website looking at the distribution of degree programs and basically

8000 undergraduates are getting their degrees in business
2000 undergraduates are getting their degrees in psychology
and only
200 undergraduates getting their degress in history
150 undergraduates getting their degrees in philosophy/religious studies

The basic question I'm asking is, even though certain majors such as philosophy and history are not directly applicable to a job, do they actually make a job candidate stand out since there is such a higher proportion of people coming in with the same business degree?

Or is the business degree still better even though everyone has one.

By the way, I have no interest in getting a business degree. Im simply asking out of curiousity.

Also, does anyone else have any cool websites showing the distribution of people taking each major?
