Are colleges extending their early deadlines?

Are colleges extending their early deadlines? My daughter is having a hard time registering for a test before November 1. Then I saw this on the College Board website:

“Colleges are rightfully being flexible with their testing requirements. Most are also extending both their early decision/early action and regular decision deadlines, so students who do submit scores can do so later. Check college websites to get the most accurate information on their policies and deadlines.” (https://pages.collegeboard.org/sat-covid-19-updates)

I don’t see anything on the webpages of my daughter’s colleges about extended deadlines. Have others seen this on colleges’ websites?

I have not heard of many schools extending their ED deadlines, but I expect they will continue to monitor the testing situation. Some schools may keep the app deadlines the same, but allow later than typical test sittings to be submitted.

Have your daughter reach out to AOs at the colleges on her list and ask whether extending the deadlines and/or accepting later test dates is under consideration.
