I'm probably being paranoid, but here's my question: I just got my SAT scores back like everyone else and got 710M 800CR and 680W. I was very surprised because CR is my weakest section and W is my strongest. I know I can bring both my M and W up to high 700s if not 800s. However, there is no way in hell I'm getting an 800 in CR again! Are colleges still taking the highest scores from each section regardless of when they were taken, or are their policies changing with the new SATs? Thanks so much!

Yes, colleges are taking highest composite. (Except for like Stanford and those who only take single sittings). Some are even combining Old SAT section scores with new ones.
