Are engineering jobs hard to get these days?

<p>Is engineering a competitive field? Like, would going to a place like Furman University with a 3.5 or so GPA be enough to easily get a job after one graduates from college?</p>

Scan through that topic, it has a lot of perspectives on the topic and some useful posts supporting both positions. Things are pretty much the same as they were two years ago, so it’s current enough.</p>
