<p>I don't know if this would be better placed in the what are my chances forum, but it's a specific question pertaining to Wheaton admissions. How important is it to excel at extracurriculars and show signs of faith? I am involved in my community and church, but I haven't done any thing particularly amazing.</p>
<p>I am in speech and student congress and place some of the time, but I've never made finals at state. I'm okay at piano and play for jazz band, but I'm not exceptionally advanced. I'm okay at singing and have made honor choirs, but I've never made it to state music contest. In other words, I haven't done anything that makes me stand out. I'm just above average at everything, yet not particularly exceptional. Furthermore, I haven't done anything amazing for my faith. I just participate in youth group and church choir, which are relatively normal activities.</p>
<p>However I am a homeschooler with As in college courses and very high test scores: a 232 on the PSAT and a 31 on the PLAN. I'm a junior this year and can try to better at extracurriculars next fall, but I'm worried that, with college courses and work, that just won't happen. Without any strong extracurriculars, would Wheaton be a reach or a match?</p>
