Are gays/lesbians Accepted at Rice?

Title says it all.

Decidedly so. The GLBT community at Rice blends in seamlessly with the rest of the university, and everyone's cool with everybody else. At one point when the football coach made some stupid remarks in public about being positive that nobody on his team had ever "turned gay", the student body was completely appalled and really ****ed off. Shirts were printed up that were bright yellow and said, "I AM NOT HOMOPHOBIC" and were worn to the next football game in support of the GLBT community at Rice. There were more students in the student section during that football game than I'd ever seen at a home game before. Gays/lesbians are accepted as just "more cool Rice people."

I want a short that says that. "I AM NOT HOMOPHOBIC" then on the back it says "BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THING".

Hooray! That's good news.

"Hooray!" sounds gay even on the internet. Hmmmmmmm.

Is LGBT students a strong presence in the Rice student body?
