Freshman year, I did bad in math (75 1st term, 80 2nd term) but okay (90s) in everything else.
Sophomore year, I was absent for a week due to medical issues which resulted in lower grades for the 1st term (85s) but they went up 2nd term. (90s)
Junior year, I'm getting 90s and last report card, I got a 97% weighted (~ 94% UW)
Because of my freshman and sophomore year grades, my overall transcript gpa isn't that high (~ 93%). If I do well this spring term, it'll probably go to a 94%. I don't know if NYS regents count, but I did pretty well on all of them (all 90+ for the ones I took in high school)
I'm wondering if the colleges will emphasize more on junior year grades and overlook my bad freshman year and sophomore year grades? Is there anyone who didn't do so well freshman year/sophomore year but did well junior year and got accepted into really good colleges?
Thanks for any help.

A few schools disregard freshmen year grades. Still, most colleges don’t overlook any grades, but they do see junior year as the most important year.

I was told that Junior and Senior year are the most important.
