Are my Classes Good Enough?

I am currently a sophomore and I want to know if I am taking the right classes to get into a good college or if I should be challenging myself more. I have done pretty well in school, mostly getting A’s and occassional B’s. Here are the classes I have taken and plan to take.

9th Grade:
Biology 1/2
Spanish 3/4
Freshman P.E.
Drama 1/2
Honors English 1/2
Geometry 1/2

10th Grade (now):
Honors Humanities 1/2
Beginning Tennis 1/2
Algebra 3/4
Honors Chemistry 1/2
AP European History 1/2
Spanish 5/6
Online Health 1

(next year my school is transitioning into a block schedule that might change these classes I plan on taking)

11th Grade:
Term 1:
Biolmedical Tech 1/2
AP English Language 1/2
AP Psychology 1/2
Term 2:
AP Biology 1/2
AP US History 1/2
AP Calculus AB 1/2
Spanish 7/8

12th Grade:
Term 1:
AP Physics 1/2
AP English Literature 1/2
AP Calculus BC 1/2
AP Spanish 1/2
Term 2:
AP Environmental Science 1/2
AP US Gov and Politics 1/2
AP Stats 1/2
Academic Tutor

What do the fractions mean?

^my best guess is the number of semesters OP has studied the subject (e.g. Spanish 7/8 means the seventh and eighth semester of Spanish studies).

Whether the classes are “good enough” and rigorous enough really depends on what your school offers, your current academic background, and many other factors. I don’t think I can accurately answer your question.

I think your schedule shows plenty of rigor… you have thirteen AP classes!
One thing to consider is that you’ll be taking four very demanding APs during the college application season… I would think about maybe moving one to the second semester. On the other hand, if you think you can handle it, go for it!
