Are my credentials good enough for Northwestern?

I am a junior in high school, and I would like to get into the mathematics program at Northwestern.

ACT composite: 32
ACT english: 35
ACT math: 33
ACT reading: 33
ACT science: 26 (This is a cause of worry for me. Will Northwestern take this into strong consideration, since I'm applying for their math program?)

Cumulative GPA: 3.88 (More recently, I've been getting a 4.0)

Class Rank: 12/56 (I'm also worried about this. Are applicants of small class sizes treated more leniently when it comes to class rank?)

My extracurriculars are cross country, golf, concert band, and jazz band. I also do some volunteer work at the hospital.

The science shouldn’t worry you, because you should take it again, focusing on studying for the science section. You should also try the SAT to see if you’re better at it.

No one can really predict your admission chances at top schools like NU. They pick what they want and who they want for whatever reason they want. There are kids with perfect scores and GPA’s that don’t get in and people with 30’s and 3.5’s getting in.
