Are my GPAs good enough so far for me to get into Vanderbilt?

<p>Im currently a junior, and as a freshman and sophomore my unweighted GPAs were 3.81 and 3.7 . I know this might not matter but my first AP Test (AP Euro) I got a 5 on it.</p>

<p>My weighted GPAs were around the 4.3 - 4.50 range. Strictly speaking from a GPA and academic standpoint, do i have a good :base: in order to apply for a top 20 school like Vanderbilt and even have a chance at getting in?</p>

<p>You need to have ECs too my friend. There are many people who have grades like you but are good in ECs too. Colleges have hollistic admissions. Without ECs it will be very hard.

But yes, if colleges were to select students purely on GPA, you would have had a chance.</p>
