Are my SATs good enough?

Everything else (ECs, grades, recs, etc.) are GREAT, my SATs are my only really weak side. If everything else is good, what are my chances at Princeton, Harvard, Yale, Brown, and Duke?

SAT I: (1st taking)
630 V
670 M

2nd time:
690 V
690 M

3rd time:
710 V
730 M

SAT II:
750 IIC
730 Writing
680 Math IC
630 Physics :(
600 Literature :(

BTW I am NOT retaking any more times.

they are solid

oh, and, your sat won't matter much... you need a strong GPA and ultra nice ECs

Yeah... well GPA is as follows:
9th: 3.7
10th: 4.0
11th: 4.1
12th (so far): 4.2
At one of the hardest counties in the country- fairfax county- where an A is a 95% and above

ECs- many clubs, honor societies, piano (I am submitting a CD), church work, summer work, etc. etc. etc.

also the improvement of the scores is to ur benefit

bumpety bumpety bump

i got a 730 on verbal this november (up from 620 the 1st time i took it) and 650 on math (up from 630 from last time).

I'm suprirsed i got 730 and i've never gotten a 730 on a practice test before, so...i was wondering on the third test, should I completely ignore verbal (and get like a 500 or something) and go for the 800 in math?

start your own thread or answer my question. don't hijack my thread

I'm in the same boat as you. My first SAT scores was a 1300, second a 1340, and lastly a 1480.

depends on where you want to go. I'd say you're doing pretty good with over 700 on both.

i told you, hyp, brown, duke...

A 1440 probably won't keep you out of those schools, but it won't help you get in. Your SAT IIs are a bit on the low side for your schools.

scherzo-- Unfortunately your SAT scores are pretty low for the schools you have in mind. I'm not sure if your ECs or GPA could make up for it but you never know. Good luck!
