Are my schools a reach or goal for me??

So I'm slowly compiling a list of all the schools i'm interested in, but I'm worried that they all might be reach for me and that I don't have enough goal schools on my list.

First my stats are....

weighted gpa: 4.1
unweighted gpa: 3.8

weighted rank: 23/309
unweighted: 13/309

sats: 1910
math and reading only: 1320
..haven't taken sat II or act yet

4 Aps and the rest are mostly honors

... and I'm pretty involved with my ECs with a Varsity sport and a couple a clubs including two Honor Societies

Now the college that I really really would want to attend are..
Bowdoin College
Amherst College
..both of which im sure are reach

On the other hand I'm also interested in....
Colgate University
Muhlenberg College
Vassar College
Haverford College

are these mostly reach for me? and if so do you guys have any suggestions to which schools would be a goal for me???
I prefer a school somewhere in the northeast, maybe by the great lakes as well... also not too urban of a setting :/

I'd really appreciate any suggestions/opinions and thanks :D

Using Vassar as an example, look at the Common Data Set [C. First-time, First-year (Freshman) Admission - Institutional Research - Vassar College](<a href=“Institutional Research – Vassar College”>Institutional Research – Vassar College). Rigor is very important and all the other elements (GPA, scores, etc) are important. <24% were accepted making it a reach. The 25%ile SAT is ~1970 so your score is low, reinforcing the reach. You can make an assessment for the other schools in the same way.

Bowdoin and Amherst as you state are reaches for most applicant. Given your stats, the last four all appear within reach.

IMO Amherst, Bowdoin, Colgate, Haverford and Vassar are all reaches. Muhlenberg is a nice match, stats-wise.
Union, Hamilton, Gettysburg, Skidmore, Franklin & Marshall and Dickinson may also be of interest.
Your profile will give you a lot of great options. Best of luck!

thanks :] I do like Hamilton, Gettysburg, Skidmore

If you like Bowdoin, check out Bates and Colby, also in Maine. Very similar cultures and somewhat less selective.

You might also want to consider the midwestern LACs-Grinnell, Macalester (urban), Oberlin. All highly regarded and somewhat less selective than Bowdoin and Amherst. Much less preppy, though, so if you like prep, they may not be a fit.
