are my stats even considerable to get into Harvard or any Ivy League or elite school?

Look through the collegedata.com website for schools with a 32 ACT average. Here is the GA Tech page (with a 32 average): https://www.collegedata.com/cs/data/college/college_pg02_tmpl.jhtml?schoolId=1478

The schools with ACT 32 average are still not “safeties” but are closer to your profile and within striking distance, assuming your GPA is also near the average. Ideally you’d want to be above the 50% range (in the example of GA Tech, that would be an ACT of 35+). Some also show the average GPA. If you are above the 50% range for both, I’d say apply.

Of course, it’s not just a numbers game. But finding schools with numbers compatible to yours will be a good way to begin your search and narrowing down.

My college budget would be up $50,000 a year I would say

“College budget up to $50K.” That’s a considerable amount of money. The parents okay with that number, I assume?

ACT of 32 will open a considerable number of doors - more than a 1200 SAT. Why not just report the ACT?

Your GPA is not awful, 97 soph, 94 Jr year. Frosh yr can be discounted because of considerable improvement.

“I’m still probably going to apply to some of my reach schools but what are some other good schools for engineering?”

Have you done any research on good but not elite schools with engineering/comp sci focus? There are a considerable number of them, including RPI, RIT, WPI, CMU, CWRU, instate options like Stony Brook, Buffalo. lots more to consider…

Update: I am ending this discussion beucase I already submitted applications to colleges.

Just be sure you also apply to some less selective colleges as well.
