I’m currently a rising sophomore, so I’m no-were close to the applications process, but currently I have some accomplishments I’m doing next school year.
Mostly A’s (one low B) this year
Robotics Club president
National Honor Society founder and president
Chamber Ensemble president
First clarinet in the band
Senior Patrol Leader of a Boy Scout troop.
Very interested in Physics also
Also I’m thinking about starting a small business to produce artificial intelligence.
I’m planning on taking 2 APs next year, then 5 junior year and 5 senior year for a total of 12.
^^Without an ACT score, SAT score, SAT Subject Test scores, or AP scores it’s way too early to ask about your chances. My advice: Leave CC for the next year and focus on doing what you love. Then, when you have another year under your belt and some test scores, ask the question again.
You are off to a great start! So far your accomplishment shows you to be very motivated. You just need to keep that up, and most importantly love what you are doing. Getting into Harvard is not the be all or end all. It is just a school. There are many other excellent schools which may fit you far better. So for now, just become the best person you can strive to be and enjoy what you are doing. You’re still only a high school freshman and have two whole year to paint a beautiful picture on an empty canvas. It is how you paint that picture with a passion that the colleges will take notice.
