I can't seem to find any information on this so any answers would help, thanks

Hi tcnj3114! All majors are designed so that students can go abroad either during the school year or during the summer. The best way to ensure that you get to go abroad when and where you want to is to start talking with your adviser about your plans as soon as you arrive on campus your first semester. That way they can help you plan for your time abroad so that you can still graduate in 4 years.

I’m a sophomore nursing major at TCNJ who has been looking into this, as well. Currently nursing students do not have the ability to study abroad during the fall or spring semesters without staying an extra year, but they can study abroad during the summer or over a may-mester. There are no study abroad programs that have nursing courses, though, though faculty are currently working on developing such a program.

With careful planning, Nursing majors may study abroad, especially over a summer session but also for a semester with careful planning. Several TCNJ exchange partners can accommodate nursing students, but it is something that requires both early and careful planning.

The Center for Global Engagement is able to help you - their website has an overview of various study abroad options - [Center for Global Engagement](Education Abroad and International Student Services | Center for Global Engagement). Why don’t you write a note to them and see what they say?!
