nursing and study abroad

is it possible to be a nursing major and study abroad at NU?

Yes, I believe so. The Global Opportunities info session is what made me decide to attend NU. But I’m an International Affairs major, so I’m required to study abroad. I think that at that info session they mentioned nursing students studying (or maybe just volunteering?) abroad. I’m not sure how Bouve works, but you should also be able to use any elective space you have on classes taken abroad if you can’t take nursing classes abroad. Or you can do core classes abroad. The Dialogue programs are only 2 courses over a month, so those would probably fit better into your schedule. This is from the Bouve site: [url=<a href=“http://www.northeastern.edu/bouve/experiential/globalexperiences.html]Global”>http://www.northeastern.edu/bouve/experiential/globalexperiences.html]Global Experiences | Bouv

It’s actually a bit difficult, but I don’t believe entirely impossible. If you came in with some credit I think you could work it out.

For some Bouve students though, it takes giving up a co-op (which isn’t always allowed) in order to do something abroad. I know that’s what my friend in PharmD has to do, even though he came in with a lot of credit.
