<p>I went to HS in Mpls (admittedly over 30 years ago), and I had never heard of St. Thomas until about 7 years ago, when I met someone who worked there. Given that I attended debate tournaments at college campuses throughout the state and my classmates applied to schools all around the state, I would say that’s pretty obscure. Of course, I went to what was supposed to be the top-rated SLAC in the country, out east, and no one had heard of it when I came home to MN for breaks. So obscurity is often regional.</p>
