But what I've been hearing is that if you study in the US for over 2 years and has the green card, you are not required to take the TOEFL test?

<p>Why don’t you call the school and find out? If you were brought up with two languages simultaneously, you don’t need to take the test. </p>
<p>If you have attended school in US, TOEFL is usually never required, even if you don’t have a greencard.</p>
<p>OTOH, permanent residency does not prevent you from needing TOEFL if you live in another country.</p>
