Are PR 11 Practice Tests Harder than the Real tests?

I just finished the PR 11 Practice test book. I don't know if it's just me.. but I think overall, it's a lot harder than the Blue book. A lot of the questions are just plain random. Anyone else thought it was more difficult?

I assume some are harder, some are easier. For example, the AP US History review book by PR. The questions were insanly easy in comparison to the actual test. I got 85% of them right on the practice, and still got a 2 on the actuall test.

Might be because its not made by the actual college board, but what you should do, and what I want to do, is get the PR 11 Practice test book and also do the Blue book. That way, you are trained on a variety of questions.

Enjoy your SAT study.

the critical reading is way harder, or maybe just the the long passages, cuz i thought the math was pretty similiar to the blue book. And yea i definitely agree, a lot of the answers were so random.

Hm, maybe I'll get that book when I'm done with the red book, then.

I'm almost done with PR and it's definitely harder than the actual. The curve is a little generous (maybe?), so the results should be reasonably accurate. I sort of think the CR is on par but the math is a little harder, but that's just me.

thecomisar, what is the red book?

10 Real Sat by Collegeboard Board for the old SAT.

Hmm.. I finished the Blue Book as well as the PR 11, should I buy the red one? Even though it was for the Old SAT, are the CR long passages pretty much the same?
