<p>Generally, yes. You can come in during the day and the grad students who will most likely be supervising you won’t be dealing with TAing or taking classes themselves. There are also generally structured summer programs for high schoolers/undergrads, so volunteers can occasionally hitch a ride on their safety training programs.</p>
