Are Sat/Act Important for G.S.?

I took the Act 3 years ago, not serious hs student at all- walked in an out no studying..got a 27. Any reason to retake them for G.S. or do they not really weigh it in so much. Should i retake it?

Test scores are a factor. How much of factor they are, however, depends on each respective applicant. The adcoms spend, on average, four hours per application. Given the length of time they spend reviewing each prospective student, they seem to truly take a holistic approach in gauging whether one is the right “fit.”

If you feel like the rest of your application is not as “competitive,” then I would suggest retaking it (or the SAT). But, if you feel confident that you have clearly demonstrated both the student you are today (recent GPA, application essay…), and your commitment to the rigors of an Ivy League education, you should be fine.
