I have both the PR SAT and AP review book for Physics but the SAT version is newer (2007-2008). Can I use the SAT subject test book to study for the APs? Are the questions formatted differently or what? If anyone has these two books, please tell me which is better for the AP exams. Should I just use the newer SAT version?

No, I would strongly discourage studying the SAT II book for the AP. They are different, and the AP is harder.

The SAT II focuses more on your understanding of physics concepts as opposed to the AP, which tests your ability to accurately calculate. Further, the AP covers a wider range of topics and requires more formulas etc.

In almost all cases, even for languages, the SAT II and AP's focuses differ. Exceptions to this would be exams like Biology or English Literature, but for the most part do not bet everything on the book not-tailored for the exam you will be taking. Very bad idea.
