I have both the PR SAT and AP review book for Physics but the SAT version is newer (2007-2008). Can I use the SAT subject test book to study for the APs? Are the questions formatted differently or what? If anyone has these two books, please tell me which is better for the AP exams. Should I just use the newer SAT version?

If you want to study from just one, use the AP one. They are two different tests, and each prepares specifically for that test. The AP exam is harder than the subject test, and it doesn't really matter if one is newer than the other because the test hasn't changed in recent years.

Well, the Princeton Review AP and SAT II Physics books are written by the same author (last time I checked), and a large portion of the two books are exactly identical. I'd say that if you wanted to study for both exams, use the AP book (especially if you're taking Physics C -- Phys B isn't very different from SAT II but Physics C covers substantially more material), but then use the SAT II book for SAT practice tests and for the one or two chapters that aren't in the AP book.

I'd still call buying both of them a ripoff.

use the ap if youre taking the ap..it worked for me!
