Are the blue book practice tests accurate indicators of probable scores?

Hey everybody. I'm taking the SAT on Saturday (eeeep) and was wondering if, in your experience, your scores from the blue book's practice tests were generally good indicators of your real scores. Have you ever been really surprised? Were your real scores higher or lower?
Thanks!

I'm wondering this, too.

They'ye somewhat off. I was in the middle of the range that the blue book gave me for reading comp., but my math and writing scores were both below the range -> call it test nerves, but I was disappointed when I didn't even make the bottom of the expected ranges.

Ahh, that is disappointing.. and scary! I have test nerves too.
Anyone else?

it's hard to tell b/c the scaling is so high...

i say the medium score is pretty decent... If you can score 2000 (low scale) - 2200 (high scale) in it then you are in good shape. You will probably get around a 2100

I swear those tests are harder. I always miss more on the bluebook tests than I have on practiced tests i took at huntington learning center
