Are the practice tests on the SAT Online Course accurate?

I'm currently enrolled in the SAT Online Course, and I've taken a few practice tests from there. In my opinion, the practice tests are inaccurate and just weird. The questions are different from what would appear on the actual SAT. (I've taken the SAT before.) The writing sections are especially odd. At this point, I feel like the practice tests from PR are more accurate than the online course ones.

Does anyone else agree? Do you think they're accurate/worth taking? I'm almost out of tests in my BB. I only have one left.

I just have a multitude of problems with the SAT Online Course in general. It does provide practice, but it doesn’t really help. I wouldn’t recommend using it as a tool. Knowing this, I’m still curious about the practice tests because they ARE produced by College Board so shouldn’t they be accurate to an extent?

I think the practice tests for the college board online course are very accurate.

The practice tests are accurate. The scores I got on them deviated from my actual score by less than 100 points.

The questions on the online tests are a little different than the ones in the BB - true - I noticed that too. There were certain questions that just felt odd … as in different from the BB questions. But don’t worry - I think the OC helped prepare me.

The first test is a real test, D2’s result from that test is very closed to what she received on her real test in Jan.

On the january international SAT there were 2 math questions which I later discovered that bearedr very close semblance to those in the online course tests. So yeah, they’re a good practice.

Alright. Thanks everyone! I thought they were a bit too easy, but maybe it’s just me. It’s nice to know that I have more tests available.

They’re really accurate for me, my first test on the online course was 30 points lower than my Jan SAT score

I thought they were pretty accurate. I got a 2290, and my scores on the online course ranged from 2260-2360, which should be about right. Some people say the CR is tougher in the online course, but I didn’t notice anything strange. I used it for a solid month or two before taking the actual test and did pretty well, so I would endorse it.

Also, don’t waste your time on the Essay Grader, I copy and pasted random walls of text into it and got 12s.
