Are the study abroad programmes competitive?

Hi I am an international student right now a senior in a private high school in Southern California (my third year in the US).
I think I will love to study at Pomona if I get into: I am competitive in academic and EC, and for I really enjoy my small classes and teacher-student friendship at my high school. Moreover, Pomona is at such a great location!!!

I wonder how is the study abroad programs? Especially if they are competitive? Can you study abroad for more than one semester?
I am interested in international relations, social study, politic, history, so I really want to spend more time at more places while receiving one of the best education. I am thinking maybe 2-3 semester in different countries.

I am really stocked to finally find out a college that I feel comfortable and fit and want to spend time there! I would appreciate any advice and suggestions!
Thanks!

Some study abroad programs are more competitive than others. Also, some programs require a specific level of foreign language proficiency. As for studying abroad for more than one semester, you would have to inquire at the study abroad office.

Good luck!

Thank you!
