Are there any internationals that received FA/scholarship with their RD acceptance?
also if you got financial aid or some sort of scholarship would it be included in the physical acceptance letter that is mailed out?
i didnt receive any…and that wil affect my attending nyu serioulsy as my parents are thinking of me rejecting the admission and rewriting the sat for next years admission cycle

@DavidOE does your FA summary on albert say “award access not available” or are you able to click on the 2018 link?
@indiahyland yep! I dont even have access to click on 2018,it just says “award access not available”
I just got my physical letter by mail (FedEx Intl Priority Mail)!!! so elated,but slightly sadenned withouth the FA OR Merit aid letter in it:) :(( Ist it supposed to be there?
@DavidOE definitely not 100% no financial aid. I would just wait for a week or two to see if they update Albert with anything. they are still figuring out financial aid and I think most people will receive updates by the middle of April. however, if you’re for sure not able to afford NYU without any financial aid, I would definitely start researching other schools that you’ve gotten into and can also afford, because NYU is literally famous for being stingy with aid.
@indiahyland i knew that 100% wouldnt be possible. Also, i didnt get in anywhere else except my very last safety school which i do not intend to go to…NYU was the only school that beleived in me and my potentials…
@DavidOE don’t lose hope!! they’re still figuring out FA stuff so you never know. and remember that you will end up somewhere where you belong, even if it isn’t NYU!
@DavidOE did you end up receiving any financial aid/scholarship? my FA summary on albert said award access not available, so I called twice. once last week and once this week, and they finally updated it and I got a scholarship! if your FA summary still says award access not available, I would definitely call ASAP

@SpicyRamen It literally just says “Tisch Scholarship” I didn’t even know that was a thing haha
