Mainly for Creative Writing, Motion Pictures, or Visual Arts, though. I've looked at schools such as Interlochen. Are there any more? Or maybe a boarding school with a strong creative writing curricular activity. :)

Walnut Hill in MA is great for creative writing and visual art, they are also known for a very rigorous ballet program. I’ve also heatd that Idyllwild (sp?) is a great arts BS as well. While it is not specifically an art school, Concord Academy also has great visual arts and a very strong english department.

interlochen, idyllwild and walnut hill are the big 3 arts-focused boarding schools. not to say there aren’t more, but they’re the 3 most well-known.

concord and middlesex’s english departments have good reputations, but i think that at top level academic schools, the difference is negligible…

Choate is also very strong in the arts, and Hotchkiss has a phenomenal music and strong theatre program with amazing facilities.

If you do not want a full-out arts school but want a great focus, I would definitely look into Concord Academy. I was amazed by their arts facilities when I visited - the other two schools that I looked at obviously were strong in arts, but it was no comparison.

Idyllwild!

Any of the elite Eight Schools Association members will have top programs.

Interlochen. I know you’ve already looked there, but Interlochen looks amazingly good.
