Are there any people out there with less than perfect stats that got accepted to good colleges?

I’m currently stressing too much about college. I’m a junior, and even with added calculations to this semester my GPA would remain virtually the same, and that’s not very good.
Sophomore year was a bad GPA of 3.4 both semesters(a-G classes)
First semester of junior year: 3.8(weighted) , 3.2(unweighted)
Second semester: goals(4.6 GPA, 4.0 unweighted) and community college classes to boost cumulative GPA.
UC/CSU GPA: 3.75, unweighted CSU/UC: 3.58
My goal is the higher CSU/lower UC.
Test stats:
SAT 1980(650R/620M/710W)
ACT 33 composite
Taking new sat and retaking act
Aiming for 1540/1550 on new SAT

I have a lot of trouble with school(idk if you could tell with my GPA) because I have ADHD and it hinders me but I don’t want to use it as an excuse for bad grades. I just want to go to one college of my choice that’s a match and I’ve been so down about it lately.

I just want to go to a school of my choice…Top choices in San Diego area. I’m not really that smart so idk how to get anywhere and my hopes kinda get crushed when I read about everyone and their high stats and getting in or rejected.

That ACT score is great! I’m sorry you are in a funk right now but you have a good profile and sound determined to make the best of future opportunities.

If you weren’t smart you wouldn’t have done so well on those tests. You are smart!!!

You’ll have plenty of good choices. Find out how much your family will pay each year.

And, please, be on a treatment program (and stick with it) now and while you’re in college. We see a lot of kids crash and burn when they go to college with unmanaged ADHD.

Between now, and college, if you have any organizational skill issues, work on those. know where your things are, put things back where they belong, develop a routine for doing your laundry and other chores…

Lots of good schools for your GPA. Just don’t focus on the tippy-top ones that everyone thinks they want to go to and you’ll be fine. Tons and tons of options.

My daughters GPA is 4.17 weighted, 3.97 unweighted. Her SAT was much lower than yours at 1800.
She didn’t take one AP at all.

Accepted to Purdue, U of Alabama, U of Arizona, and waiting on some which require no SAT. Your fine.
