<p>Yes, there are. My son is applying for several. Some are through his college. Some are through our state. Others are ones we found through fastweb or through my husband's work union. They may be based on different things, depending upon the scholarships, but usually things like academics, financial need, outside activities, and community service or leadership are taken into account.</p>
<p>Fastweb is the best resource so long as you fill out your profile as completely as possible. </p>
