Are there power outlets in lecture halls?

It’s common in the lecture halls. I just don’t bring it anymore because it only adds extra weight and you can’t draw proper diagrams in your notes.

It is very inefficient.

Ok this is bad I got a 15.6’’ toshiba =</p>

Depends on how you use your comp -

But on a more serious note, it’s all about your preferences and the type of class you have. In some classes a comp might be better because you can take down information much faster by typing, but obviously a diagram is somewhat hard to incorporate into a .doc file.

15.6 is avg computer size…neither a lightweight 14 inch nor a desktop replacement 17 inch

I have english 4 math 9 and chem 1

well prof dont allow laptops in english classes ( very rare when they do), math it varies my friend did his math homework while in class, chem i sthe same as math

Go look for a tablet - Lenovo X series tablets (what x210t?) are awesome for this, and still pack plenty of battery life.

I was so going to get one, and my insanity kicked in and I bought a sony i7 laptop instead. XD

ouch lmao
not even chem allows computers in class?? I have Hill D

Only the small classes usually don’t allow laptops -

I had one chem 005 class that had about 30-40 students, the professor didn’t allow laptops.
Same with my 30 student English class

Any class that involves 100+ students in a big lecture hall, the professor won’t bother trying to keep people off computers

chem 01 isnt that over 100 people?

yeah, exactly
