Are these even considered EC's?

<p>I noticed people putting down:</p>

<p>piano lessons/other instrument lessons
Dance lessons
+ whatever other type of lessons
Band</p>

<p>as EC's...</p>

<p>Okay, so I take instrumental lessons too, I practice quite a bit at home...but I don't even consider this EC...it doesn't really help the community at all.</p>

<p>Unless I'm misinterpreting this...?</p>

<p>Not everything you do has to help the community. That would be soo communist to think ^^</p>

<p>ECs are whatever you do out-of-school. Even playing games is an EC, just that adcoms have no use for it.</p>
