Are these extracurriculars bad?

I'm wondering if I should even bother applying to any ivy leagues. I'm currently going to be a junior this fall. My test scores, GPA, and course-load are all good, but I'm really worried about my extracurriculars. Here they are:
--Varsity Girls Tennis Team (In 9th grade I was number 2 on the team, and in 10th I was number 1. My coach already told me that I will be captain in 11th and 12th grade )
--USTA (united states tennis association) tournaments
--JTT (junior team tennis) (summer between sophomore and junior year)
--anime club (9th and 10th grade. I plan on staying in for 11th and 12th)
--gaming club (9th grade. I plan on going again in 11th and 12th)
--National Art Honors Society (10th grade)
--Computer Science Team (10th grade. My teacher says that I'll be on it in 11th and 12th grades too, and that I might be captain)
--National Honors Society (Accepted this summer. Going to be in it for 11th and 12th grades)
--Math team (plan on joining in 11th and 12th grades)

So exactly how far will these get me (assuming everything else is good)? Are they good enough for Cornell or any other ivy league? How about Johns Hopkins?

The Tennis is a very good activity. Being on a team is a time commitment, and being #1 on a team and Captain helps a lot. Any chance you’ll be good enough to play in College – that would be huge.

Overall, based on what other students post – I think you’re average to above average for students applying to these universities. Though some students have truly amazing accomplishments, most have ECs that look like yours.

Otherwise, your activities are ok. They’re not going to keep you out if everything else is good, but are not going to get you in if things aren’t.

With respect to other Ivies or Ivy Peers, such as JHU – the same group of students applies to each of these schools, so the same advice applies.

I think your tennis is excellent and assuming you are passionate about it, keep it up and continue to excel. Since you are going to be named captain, make sure you make something of that leadership position and take the title and do nothing with it (not sure how being captain your team works). I also assume you’ve been playing since before high school, so that longevity really helps you.

The long list of EC’s rarely impress me and I don’t think they impress admissions officers. A lot of people do minor activities (which is fine), but I’m sure admissions officers recognize that most items on most people’s long list of EC’s are not all that significant.

Basically, I agree with everything zephyr15 said.

It’s not bad, but looks like a “laundry list”. Narrow it down.

Show some love for one thing vs laundry list
