<p>I'm looking at some top LACs, and I'm wondering if these ECs are good enough. If it helps, I'm looking to become an International/Global Studies major.</p>
<p>Youth Court - 2 years (fresh and soph), would have been longer but the program got shut down
Youth Court Leadership Council - 1.5 years
Volunteer at animal shelter - 2 years (junior and senior)
NHS (Senior year - my school doesn't let us join until we're seniors =/)
Tutoring (math, on and off throughout high school)
Black belt in Tae Kwon Do
Chamber Orchestra (violin) - 2 years (after 2 years in regular orchestra - chamber is audition-only)
Spanish Club - 4 years - VP junior year, President senior
German Club - 3 years (soph, junior, senior)
International Service Club (3 years) - Treasurer
History Club - 2 years
Pit Orchestra (for school musical) - 2 years
5 summers Spanish Immersion camp (possible essay topic - how it inspired my interest in other cultures and languages)
Amigos de las Americas - 8 weeks volunteering in South America (another possible essay topic)
Volunteer staff member for Astronomy conference - 4 years
Tri-M Music Honor Society - 2 years</p>
<p>Also, self-taught piano, but I haven't really done anything with it and it's not like I'm a prodigy.</p>
