<p>If by "all the other criteria for gaining admission" you mean having a record of high-achievement in HS, have well-rounded and non-trivial extracurricular activities, presenting yourself well on an interview where you show genuine interest in attending Brandeis, articulating what in particular about Brandeis appeals to you and showing that you can make a positive contribution to the Brandeis community more so than other applicants. Then, yes these scores are "good enough."</p>
<p>I agree. Your scores are good, but not spectacular for Brandeis. In other words, your scores wouldn't put you over-the-top in the application process, so you best have a strong hook. I would re-do the SATs in the Fall, with a particular emphasis on the SAT writing...</p>
