Are transfer students treated as equals?

As a new transfer student, I am curious as to how the UCB community embraces transfer students? is there any noticeable difference between transfer students and four-year students academically (GPAs) and socially?
Are they pretty much in the same boat when it comes to job prospects? If by any chance, you are a four-year student, how do you view transfer students and what is your experience with them? any advice on how to make a smooth transition? appreciate it!

Commenting based on what I have seen so far:

No one can tell you are a transfer student unless you tell them, and even then most don't really care. I believe junior transfers graduate at about the same rate as those who were admitted as freshmen, with about the same GPA. I would imagine that you are in the same boat when it comes to job prospects because in many cases only the diploma matters. You are not going to write "junior transfer" on your resume.

I am a freshman admit and I think transfers are a mixed bag. I've seen transfers who are already very motivated and involved in classes and research, and I have seen transfers who struggle with speaking English. I generally treat them the same as any Berkeley student.
