<p>Are students from Wellesley, attending MIT classes through Wellesley's cross-registration program, welcomed in class or do you think they are looked upon somehow unfavorably, since MIT is not their school, etc? I'd love to know more about your experiences with the students from Wellesley in this program, or the program itself.</p>

<p>In my experience, no one cares what school you’re from as long as you’re a nice person (and you do your groupwork if it’s a group project class). I suspect it’s mostly annoying for the students from other colleges, as their classmates will expect them to come to MIT to work on psets etc.</p>
<p>I knew a Wellesley girl who took EECS classes at MIT for a year and then transferred to MIT. No one gave her a hard time, and I’d think I’d know because she used to complain about some of the Wellesley girls to me. I know another Wellesley girl who took a couple of humanities classes at MIT and I never heard any complaints.</p>
<p>It shouldn’t be a problem.</p>
<p>There was a student from Wellesley in a class I’m LAing, and she ended up deciding to drop the class not because she felt unwelcome (in fact, she was very involved in her class group), but because the commute was taking a toll on her schedule.</p>
