<p>Hello, I'm planning to go to Wellesley College this fall, and know that I will have the opportunity to cross register at MIT. Has anyone done this/know of people who have? I'd like to do it mostly for the change of scenery/chance to meet some guys. :) What non-science departments are particularly strong at MIT? Thanks for the help!!</p>

<p>I think more Wellesley students cross-register at MIT than vice versa, so you're probably better off asking them and not us. :) I've been in lots of classes with Wellesley students, though, so I think cross-registration is pretty common.</p>
<p>MIT's best non-science departments are probably management, economics, and linguistics/philosophy. I've heard our political science is pretty strong too. We have a good selection of cognitive science courses in our brain and cognitive sciences department.</p>
<p>Other than that... we're good at basically any science or engineering subject you can name. That's what we do.</p>
