if you land a job during the fall semester?

It wouldn't really matter if your GPA dropped that final year, since you already have a job locked up, right?

Depends on the job. I have heard of it being done before, but it is rare.

From my experience, top tier bank jobs require you to maintain a specific GPA in their contract. If you dip below, the offer can be rescinded.

Yes, that’s just what employers want to see - a potential employee who’s a slacker and not self-motivated to keep up with his/her work unless there’s a specific carrot at the end. Makes an employer feel all warm and fuzzy about hiring you in this time of high unemployment, when employers can choose among multiple qualified individuals to hire.

Is this something you really want to risk?

Probably a good idea to keep chugging along and just push through the last semester. You never know what could happen.

nah its not like Hs when u can coast cuz ur in college. ur either accepted to a job or grad school. u’ll need a solid GPA in the future so dont screw u[p 3.5 years of hard fu**ing work

You may want a second job one day.

I don’t think that it’s that important especially if you’re in engineering, you’ve suffered three years have a little fun your last one. Alot of people get offers before fall grades even come out. By the way if you’re looking for a second job later down the line 90% of companies won’t look at your college gpa.
